Welcome to Laona History.Com !

This site is designed to function as a “Community Scrapbook”  highlighting early history in the Laona area.  It is not intended to be a comprehensive history complete with footnoted pages, but rather a collection of personal accounts, newspaper articles, and photos depicting the people and places of early Laona.

Even though some of the photos posted on this site are in poor condition, we can get a rare look into the past by including them in this collection.  Currently this web site consists of over 220 pages and more than 1,600 images.
I hope you will enjoy this site and visit it often to see what's new.

This site will be up-dated as
